Artist Statement:
Future paintings of the Past is how I describe my work. I find inspiration from all areas of Pop Culture. My childhood constantly creeps into my paintings. With a nod to pop surrealism, lowbrow and Underground, I want the art to give a quick glimpse into a universe that almost makes you smile.
This show focuses on the nostalgic car culture of the past. Fast cars, cool music and a hip vibe. What was cool then is cool now. The art is sleazy, greasy and loose - rev it up and go, man go!
Get the first look and chance to purchase one of his works along our 50 ft gallery wall on opening night before they are available on the web for sale, and speak with the artist about his work and his inspirations! Don’t forget to take in a cool drink from our 31 tap selection our 55ft long bar while attending, and stay after the opening to enjoy our musical event, Wavves, to follow! There is no better way to kick start your weekend!
All Artwork on display is available for sale on our website the day after opening, as well as select past pieces, at: https://shop.deepellumart.co
