I Tried to Warn Them

The Traveler rested against the lumbering tree, leaking critical fluids from twisted shards of protruding metal. Only minutes remained before expiration. A few curious creatures emerged from the dense forest in a playful investigation, before disappearing back into dark woods. Before the last remaining systems ceased to function, a hopeless, final mission log was successfully transmitted:

“After many years of silent observation..I tried to warn them.” - End
